  1. We are in our prime golfing weather now. Highs in the low 70’s. Lower humidity levels. And I’ve made full use of it missing only two days in 3 weeks now. Today we played a very tough course. Slope of 137 at 6246 yards. Fast greens with zero flat areas. And lots of hazards you can’t see from the tee box. I felt lucky to walk away with an 85 and know it was my wedges and putter that saved me from going over 90. I found lots of those blind hazards today. But I dropped 10 one putts on those diabolical greens. Most from just outside 6 feet. And maybe half those were down hill braking putts that seemed more miracle than skill. But I’ll take every one of them. I needed every one of them too to save a respectable score. As it was I carded an 85 adjusted to 83 for the handicap thanks to a couple triples those hazards brought me. Not sure at all if I can do all that much better there. A better ball striking day would help, but I question where I can get a lucky on the greens there next time around. And we will be going back. It’s a good tough test of our game and I want to play it a few more times and see if I can find a way to break 80 there. I think that would be something considering it’s difficultly level.

Anyway, here’s hoping you and all your readers have as enjoying holiday season as I’m having.
