I have no words of wisdom today to delve deep into skill development. Today, I am feeling grateful. Of course, I am grateful for the many blessings in my life that help me navigate the daily comings and goings. Keeping a grateful attitude even when many challenges test our resolve is a life path I choose to travel.
My life approach of gratefulness also applies to my golf game. Like you, I make mistakes, poor choices and mishits. It is a fact of golf, but as I experience each bump in the road, I always remain grateful for the great things in my golf game. My gratefulness helps fuel my passion of playing great golf and regardless of the results, it remains front and center in my mental approach. I am grateful, always.

Today is another fantastic day. I will be playing golf in the afternoon with some friends. I know that I will hit some good shots and some others, but no matter what I will be grateful for the time I spend following my passion.
I am sending positive thoughts out to the world in hopes that it helps others navigate their golf and life path. My your day be filled with joy and happiness. If nothing else, remember to be grateful.
I am a grateful golfer! See you on the links!
I am certainly grateful to being able to enjoy this game. Even though tonight I had to forgo a round or any real practice to allow the body to heal. Had myself a monster knot in a back muscle finishing up another skins game last night. But it was nothing a couple of lidocaine patches and a little rest couldn’t take care of and I’m grateful for that too. Plus I won this time so there’s even more to be grateful for. lol
I have done a little practicing tonight just the same. Putting mostly, but also a slow motion swing practice drill too. Still trying to make myself want to automatically shift correctly rather than having to force it. And a little drill for holding lag. Things I can do that won’t cause any damage in the house or to me. lol

Jim, I appreciate your comments today and I am also a grateful golfer.
It is always important to count your blessings. For me, the game of golf provides an opportunity to share experiences with friends and an opportunity to make new ones.
It was great to come to Northern Ontario last week and play with you, Blair, and Mike. Mike and I go back a long time and it was great for us to play together again. It was equally rewarding to play with you and Blair and develop new friendships.
On that trip, I was accompanied by my friend John. On May 27, John had open heart surgery and spent 10 days in hospital. When he received clearance to play golf two weeks ago, he could not wait to inform me that he was planning on participating in our hickory tour. For that I am grateful as we had a blast sharing our passion for the game in North Bay and Haileybury.
Today, three of us are making the drive to Mitchell to tee it up with John on his new home course. We are going to play clubs from the 1970’s and I expect there will be a friendly match where a loonie or two might change hands. The most important thing is that four friends are going to appreciate each other’s company and for that I am grateful.
I hope you too have a wonderful day with your friends.
