One question that was asked dealt with if the cup is being damaged more now that the pins are left in, than before when the pin was always removed. It is a valid question being asked all over because a person has developed an method to alleviate this potential hazard.

New Method vs Old Method for Chipping

Recently, I was asked to look at a video that touts that there is a new and, potentially, more effective way to chip around the green. Thanks to Mac Adams for sending me the video and I finally had a chance to look at what Danny Maude from ‘Play Better Be Better‘ had to say. My first impression was that he offers many great tips on chipping, but I am not convinced it is a new way of chipping.

Winning Golf Tournaments – Too Easy!

There is a sure fire plan to win golf tournaments that anyone can follow. It is not difficult, but does take a bit of effort maintain the course when things are not going well. You will notice that I did not say win every golf tournament, but one from time to time. The competition is fierce out there and to win is something special, but not rocket science! Of course there are two different strategies depending on the format, but the concept for both are exactly the same.

Miss Playing Golf at Osprey Links

Well, I am still working on the renos for our house and it is looking great. However, today I am missing playing golf at Osprey Links. I really enjoy looking the course and seeing all the wonderful colours that Mother Nature has to offer.

Focused On The Smallest Spot For Consistent Contact

Over the last year of golf, I worked on focusing on a smaller and smaller contact point and aiming point. I found that this small change in my mental approach has helped improved my contact on the ball. It was not a revelation but and evolution of my game. It is something that I adopted many years ago, but not with focused intent I have now. It really is something new, but not, if you know what I mean.
