At the beginning of every golf season, I am amazed at how many golf balls I and my group can loose. Mostly, my ball decides to go for a swim and there is very little I can do anything about it. One would think that with such a potential for a loss, I would carry a ball retriever. However, I do not and have not had one for many, many years.

My Golf Stats for 2019

I finally decided on which golf stats I want to track for 2019. We have discussed this before and now I have an excel tracking sheet that will cover the core stats needed to help me focus in areas I need to practice. Tracking stats for a grateful golfer like myself is fun and rewarding; not at all geekish.

My First 18 Holes of Golf in 2019

It finally happen last Saturday! I was able to play 18 holes of golf because our course was finally dry enough to open the front 9. The front was a bit beat up and there were 2 temporary greens, but I am grateful to the staff at Osprey Links for all their dedicated work to bring the course to a point were we can loop 18 holes. Well, I must say it was fun and challenging at the same time!
