My Thoughts on the Ottawa/Gatineau Golf Expo

I was invited by my friend Serge to visit him in Ottawa to attend the Ottawa/Gatineau Golf Expo last Friday. Missing the golf show in Toronto, I decided this was a great opportunity to visit my friend and to attend one of my favourite events. I packed up the car on Thursday, drove 3.5 hours to Serge’s place, stayed the night and headed to the expo for noon on Friday. Overall, the expo was a good experience and I met many like minded individuals in the golf industry; however it did fall short a bit with respect to the vendors. Let me explain.

The Best Is Yet To Come!

With five weeks or so until opening day, I can happily report that my indoor swing training is working very well. My back feels looser and I feel that my indoor driving net has was well worth the effort of constructing it. With all the practice I am doing in the off-season I can only think that the best is yet to come for my golf game.

When Does Routine Become a Rut in Golf

Routine is the backbone of success. Consistently performing specific tasks that form into habits is something that most golfers want to achieve. It helps the succeed when the pressure mounts because it frees up mental capacity to focus on more complex issues. The best example is the pre-shot routine where your actions prepare your body and mind to hit a golf ball. This is always a good thing. There is Not Going To Be A Perfect Time to Fix My Golf Game

The number of times I made excuses for not fixing my golf game is almost countless. I can always find a reason why it is just not the right time to make that much needed adjustment. These excuses creep less into my mind lately than they did years ago, yet I cannot help thinking how much time I wasted making excuses not to fix my golf game.
