If you like watch older golf videos of great players, then you likely have watched the Tiger Twirl. This happens when Tiger Woods hits a fantastic shot and spins his club around in a sort of celebration type move. It really is cool to watch and in his younger years he really put a lot of effort into this particular aspect of his showmanship. I am not sure it was intention, but it sure is fun to watch.

Having Golf Equipment Stored for a Rainy Day
Coming from a golfer who has 6 sets of golf clubs in the garage and one more on the way, I can honestly say that I have plenty of golf equipment stored ready for use. I am not sure there is a minimum amount of stores that players need because it is a personal thing, but I suggest that having some equipment on hand will help reduce overall playing costs. And this is always a good thing, don’t you think?

With just over a month to go before opening season and I feel now is not the time to change my normal preparation routine. Of course, world events have shocked everyone, but I am hoping that it will be business as usual (tongue in cheek) at my local golf course. Fortunately, we still have about 4 or 5 weeks before opening day and I am hoping that some resemblance of normal will return. Most golfers are searching for the perfect golf swing. It is one of those elusive goals that never seems to diminish over the many years of playing. Over the past 10 years or so, many top level golfers have turned to the systematic approach to improving their swing. The reliance on numbers and statistics (on and off the course) drives many of the minor changes in a professional golfers swing. I do not see this changing anytime soon, but unfortunately the systematic approach may not be as beneficial to amateurs who have other stressors in their lives that prevents them from dedicating the time and money to finding their perfect golf swing.
