Golf Game – Vegas Scramble

I enjoy playing golf games during Men’s Night. Last Wednesday, I played Vegas Scramble for the first time in my golfing career. Funny thing is, the very next day I played Vegas Scramble again for senior men’s day. What was interesting was that after using the same rules, we had different results. It is a fun game, but only if the dice are rolling your way! Continue reading

Men’s Night at Osprey Links Golf Course

I love playing in Men’s night. It is an opportunity to play some fun golf with absolutely no pressure. Last Wednesday, approximately 45 players(normally closer to 100 during mid-season) teed it up for a straight 4 man scramble. No special rules, nor were there any restrictions on putts or drives. It was a great game and to top things off, our regular crew was back together for the first time in 2018 with the exception of Jimmy D. He was an add on and fit in perfectly with Blair Rick and I. The Last Men’s Night of the 2016 Golf Season

After playing an exciting 18 holes during the intersection finals, I signed up to play 9 more at the last Men’s Night of 2016. I can say that after walking 27 holes, I was tired and ready for a rest. Interestingly, my fatigue did not detract from an outstanding last round.

We started on the 1st hole at 5 pm. It gets dark around 7:20 pm so there is not much time to waste playing 9 holes. This week Blair, my usual playing partner, and I were team with Gil and Wayne. We have seen these two gentlemen around the course, but have not played with them. Well that all changed and for the better! Continue reading
