Have a Fantastic Thursday

Today, we take possession of our new house. After weeks of couch surfing, the day has arrived and we are very excited to start our new adventure in a new town. So, no golf talk today; but a mind full of positive thoughts.

Have a Fantastic Thursday! Only you can create the day you want.

I am a grateful golfer! See you on the links!

  1. While you were slaving away moving into your new digs, I went out for some golf and had another great day. I decided to swap out my 3 iron for my old adams tight lies 5 wood and give the newer Cobra 3 wood I own another try now that I’ve been hitting my older fairway wood better. And both clubs worked really well for me the few times I used them. The round itself was a bit up and down, but the only real problem I had was pulling a few irons off the tee on the par 3’s. That was weird because I didn’t do it on my approach shots at all, just from the tee box. Anyway, I eagled the short par 5 and a short par 4 on the front nine after starting off with 4 pars in a row and followed each of the eagles up with bogies which made me cringe a little, but since I finished the front 9 at two under with an easy par on 9 I stayed pretty happy with myself. The back nine continued the up and down and I went into the 18th hole at even. But while I missed the fairway left by a couple of feet with my drive, I hit a great approach shot to that green and left myself just a 2 foot put for birdie that rattled the flagstick. So I guess I’ve now validated my 1st under par round. It’s not just a fluke anymore. Unless it’s two flukes. lol

    • Kevin,

That is awesome!!! It is never a fluke to shoot under par because of the number of great shots needed to accomplish this rare and exciting feat. Thanks for sharing, I am knee deep in paint and updates. Have an awesome Sunday.

      Cheers Jim
