This is a quick service announcement. As the snow in my area is still 3 feet high, I thought it was a good time to remind everyone to fix their ball marks. And here is how……
I still have about 8 weeks to go, but it is never too soon to think about maintaining my home golf course of Osprey Links!
Thanks to Rush Creek Golf Club, Maple Grove, MN, for their infomercial.
All joking aside, properly fixing ball marks is very important. It helps maintain the health of the greens through the dog days of summer. I take a great deal of pride in fixing a ball mark properly because I want my fellow golfers to join in and respect our course. It is the small things that can make a huge difference and fixing ball marks is definitely one of those things.

I am a grateful golfer! See you on the links!

Great public service announcement. Courses should post that graphic everywhere. Golfers don’t learn this fast enough. I know it was years before anyone showed me the correct way to repair a divot.

Thanks Kevin. I agree that courses should post this around the clubhouse for sure. I think I will mention that to my GM.
Cheers Jim
