I am sitting at my computer early Saturday morning writing an article for Sunday. I generally try to stay 24 hours ahead of my self-imposed due dates because a fixed schedule helps me keep my creative juices flowing.
Sunday the temperature is dropping to -3° C and it is going to start snowing again. Man I miss the warm sunny days of golf. It is easy to lament about my long winters nap, but that would be counter productive to my view of keeping a positive attitude. So, lets just do this…..

This hole provides a welcomed challenge of driving the ball.

Playing competitive golf is always fun!

One of my favorite shots at Osprey Links Golf Course.

Jim,
We’re barely weeks into our off-season and I share your sentiments around missing the game! Your pics will help whet the appetite for play during the wintery months. I hope we can catch up at the Toronto Golf Show again and perhaps 2018 is the year we can tee it up together!
Cheers, Mike

That sounds like a plan. We should coordinate when we get a little closer to the golf show. In the mean time, keep warm!

Jim,
I am with you here! While I’m enjoying the off-season, certainly missing much about being at the course regularly. I think this off-season is going to fly by though.

Great photos. I feel quite guilty about how much golf I am still able to play. eg Yesterday a round with friends. OK it was 0C and frosty on the first tee but the sunshine soon warmed things up. Playing tomorrow (possibly in the rain) in seniors vs ladies match, then Tuesday in weekly seniors comp. I certainly am a grateful golfer! Cheers, Rob.
