It has been almost a week since I hit the links. Life has prevented me from teeing it up and that is OK. I knew this time in my season was coming and as such, am prepared for hitting the links less for the rest of the year. It is all good and has nothing to do with my health. Anyway, I have carved out some time today to hit the links and it is going to be fun.

I have no expectations today. The weather is going to be awesome, but I am not sure if my swing will be. During these times of the year, my ability to play is spotty at best and as such having fun is the only real goal.
I expect to be rusty and stiff for the first few holes, but that is okay. Just when I loosen up fully, we will be turning to the back nine. Because of this, I hope I can just keep my ball in play.
Since it is fall, I will switch back to the Wilson 50. It is a great fall ball and the temperatures are cool enough where a switch is needed. I do this every year and this year will be no different. This ball works well for my game in the fall (and spring) and I hope it adds a bit of yardage to my rusty swing.
So, I am off and looking forward to playing today. I will let you know how it goes.
I am a grateful golfer! See you on the links!
