Asking someone’s opinion is the greatest form of flattery. Most of us feel something positive when sought out to provide sage advice or thoughts on a particular topic. Recently, I asked three questions on Twitter and here is what you had to say.
The first question dealt with shooting a hole in one. The results are not surprising and most people answered 0 or 1.
Have you shot a hole in one?
Next dealt with the grip players use. I did receive some interesting responses about other grips to use, but the most answers stayed within the scope of the question. Here is what you had to say:
Personally, I use the interlocking grip with every club except my putter. I am not surprised about the answers, but I think I need to do more research to see if the handicap correlates to any specific grip. Something to ponder for sure.
Lastly, I asked people if they are excited that Tiger Woods was turning to competitive golf. The answer was a resounding yes!
Of course I talked about Tiger’s return last week and I suggest cautious optimism on your expectations as he tees it up at the Safeway Open.
The masses have spoken. The results of my polls are not surprising and I take comfort knowing that people are listening. I believe it is important to have an open, fair, and respectful conversation about all things golf and here at The Grateful Golfer, we will continue to strive to accomplish this goal.
I am a grateful golfer! See you on the links!
ZERO hole in ones 😦 Close many times.
Interlocking – works for Jack and Tiger, though Phil uses overlapping.

Linley,
You hole in one is coming. The amount of golf you play, plus the improvement in your game lately will result in the big prize. Good Luck.
Cheers
Jim
